The UncMap plugin allows you to map windows drive-letters to an UNC path.

Add mappings as letter server pair.

An example:
  z \\server1\documents

You can optionally also add a locally mounted fileserver to look up if the file exists:
  y \\server2\share /mnt/fileserver
