The following steps will be performed during the upgrade process:

  - Downloading the new DokuWiki package
  - Unpacking the package
  - Checking the needed permissions
  - Updating changed files
  - Deleting removed files

This will not upgrade any installed plugins or templates. Creating a backup of your wiki is recommended befor starting the upgrade process.
